पारम्परिक उपयोग:
- पारंपरिक रूप से पीपल का उपयोग हृदय रोगों, नाक से खून बहना, मधुमेह, कब्ज, बुखार, पीलिया आदि के उपचार में किया जाता है।
- पीपल का उपयोग संक्रमण और खाद्य विषाक्तता को ठीक करने के लिए भी किया जाता है।
- छाल का उपयोग त्वचा रोगों, मुंह के छालों, मधुमेह और हड्डी के फ्रैक्चर को ठीक करने के लिए किया जाता है।
- अस्थमा, खांसी, दस्त और पाचन संबंधी समस्याओं में पत्तों के रस का सेवन किया जाता है।
- त्वचा की समस्याओं में टहनियों का उपयोग किया जाता है।
- छाल के पाउडर और शहद से बना पेस्ट त्वचा पर लगाने से चेहरे को ताजगी मिलती है।
- मूत्र विकार और पाचन तंत्र की समस्याओं में पीपल के तने का उपयोग किया जाता है।
- पीपल के सूखे फलों का पाउडर अस्थमा जैसी सांस की समस्याओं के उपचार में उपयोग किया जाता है।
- कई हर्बल दवाओं में पीपल के अलग-अलग हिस्सों का पाउडर या अन्य जड़ी-बूटियों के साथ मिलाकर उपयोग किया जाता है।
